no.w.here runs regular workshops on the equipment available in the lab. We also run wide ranging thematic workshops that combine philosophical and practical ways of thinking and using film and video, and develop bespoke workshops with visiting artists. Our workshops can be delivered both on and offsite.

All courses at no.w.here fill up quickly and spaces are only available on a strictly first come, first serve basis. Payment can be made by card over the phone or by cash or cheque by prior arrangement.

Cancellations policy

In the event of no.w.here having to cancel or postpone a course you are entitled to a full refund. If you cannot attend a workshop you have booked, a 50% refund is available with 6 to 10 days notice. Absolutely no refunds can be made 5 days before the workshop.

Aaton LTR Super 16mm camera workshop

This workshop will enable artists to experiment with what has for some time been considered an industrial standard, but is now also a viable option for shooting sync sound super 16mm film within the budget of an artist’s production. *Aaton's description of their camera in action

Moonrakers and Movies
Day 1 (27th June) will take place at Devizes Corn Exchange (Market Place, Devizes, SN10 1HS. Day 2 (June 28th) at the Floating Cinema moored in Devizes Wharf. You are asked to attend both days. The 27th is 10am until 4pm and the 28th is 11am until 4pm. Tickets are £5, available HERE
Explore Wiltshire's myths, legends and superstitions in this two- day animation workshop for young people (12–16 years). No experience necessary. A collaboration between Floating Cinema, no.w.here and artist Oliver Bancroft.

An evening workshop

This evening workshop will activate an archive of poetic-political texts (speeches, correspondence, manifestos and poetry) which form the practices of resistance and knowledge accumulated by a critical diaspora.
