no.w.here runs regular workshops on the equipment available in the lab. We also run wide ranging thematic workshops that combine philosophical and practical ways of thinking and using film and video, and develop bespoke workshops with visiting artists. Our workshops can be delivered both on and offsite.

All courses at no.w.here fill up quickly and spaces are only available on a strictly first come, first serve basis. Payment can be made by card over the phone or by cash or cheque by prior arrangement.

Cancellations policy

In the event of no.w.here having to cancel or postpone a course you are entitled to a full refund. If you cannot attend a workshop you have booked, a 50% refund is available with 6 to 10 days notice. Absolutely no refunds can be made 5 days before the workshop.

Tinting film using plant dyes
16mm eco film workshop

This workshop at the William Morris Gallery opens up a space for creative tinting of motion picture film using only organic, biodegradable source material such as onion skins, organge, turmeric.

Forage and Dig Photograms
OrganicLea film workshop
Saturday 23rd January 2016. Free, but booking essential by following his link. Workshop times: 11am – 4pm. Workshop takes place at the Yurt eco film lab, OrganicLea, 115 Hawkwood Crescent, London E4 7UH. Please see TFL for details on how to reach OrganicLea.
Join artist filmmakers James Holcombe and Rosalind Fowler in a free one day workshop at OrganicLea in Epping. Together we will forage for organic plant material to make short photogram films with, using the lab set up within the yurt at OrganicLea.
