16mm Bolex and Super 16mm Aaton camera Hire




no.w.here camera workshop


16mm Bolex cameras and an Aaton LTR super 16mm camera are available to no.w.here members to hire out for free*.

***PLEASE NOTE - DUE TO INCREASED DEMAND, OUR CAMERA BOOKINGS SYSTEM HAS CHANGED***

Cameras are hired for a one week period and come with one lens, and a light meter, and accessories as needed such as a rewind arm for creating double exposures, and a shutter release cable for taking single frame exposures. A tripod is also available to hire*.

Members can book 16mm Bolex for one week only from Wednesday to Wednesday.

Members can collect cameras for hire between 3pm - 4pm on Wednesdays. Cameras must be returned the following Wednesday between 10am - 11am.

Members wishing to borrow 16mm Bolex cameras must demonstrate competency in the use - such as through having previously undertaken a Bolex workshop at no.w.here.

If you need to book a refresher session on using the Bolex camera, you can book 1:1 tuition time with no.w.here at the rate of 40 per hour - please contact info[at]no.w.here.org.uk to book.

LENSES AVAILABLE FOR HIRE:
16mm and 25mm Switar lenses
150mm Wollensack lens

* 10 administration fee chargeable for camera hire. Cameras are available for one week from Wednesday to Wednesday only and cannot be extended. 15 administration fee is applied when hiring a tripod and a Bolex.

∞ You must sign an agreement to pay for full replacement or repair in the case of loss or damage whilst no.w.here's equipment is in your case. You will need valid debit/credit card details to complete the agreement, and cameras cannot be hired without credit/debit card details being given. The maximum chargeable is 400.
